CareerSage was formed to combat the growing trend of Career Transition/Outplacement & Leadership Development providers cutting costs by using technology as their primary means of servicing individuals going through Career transition/Outplacement and/or those needing Leadership Development.
There is a desperate need for an authentic “human- to- human” coaching service for Career Transition/Outplacement and Leadership Coaching. That’s where we come in.
Leveraging 40 plus years of combined experience in the field of Outplacement/Career Transition & Leadership Development, and identifying a need to provide full-service coaching per client & candidate expectations, led to CareerSage Group being established.
What’s in a name? For us, everything. We specifically chose the name CareerSage as it speaks to the wisdom and capability of our coaches as well as the value our organization provides.
Career:
Noun: an occupation undertaken for a significant period of a person's life and with opportunities for progress
Sage:
Adjective: having, showing, or indicating profound wisdom
With decades of experience in Outplacement/Career Transition and Leadership Development, we know how important it is to have deep knowledge of the industry, and how to properly apply that knowledge to best serve our clients. We believe that the best way to deliver our sage services is to do so with an experienced, business savvy coach.
CareerSage Group’s foundation is coaching. We recognize that technology has its’ advantages, however we believe career transition and leadership coaching are better served when done so with a human being vs. a technology platform or a limited combination of both.
Our experience tells us that individuals choose not to log into some website or portal to watch a video or click cumbersome links to assist them in their career journey.
Our competitors will tell you they provide [some-sort-of] coaching, and some do. However, it is very limited coaching and only after the individual has been sent to a portal to watch videos and/or download information to review as homework. This is not an experience individuals care to go through, especially after losing their job.
Our solution is different. We don’t substitute coaching with videos or hyperlinks. Our programs are delivered by experienced career coaches who use state-of-the-art, industry-proven strategies & skills along with compassion to meet each individual where they are in their job search process or career development journey.
